Mirror Park is LIVE with the latest edition of Custom Mech shops to grace our fine City. KANSEI Speed Shop so named by the Owner Daigo Kimura. “A different way of looking at things … and we run the business in the same way!”

Granting us an interview, we spoke to Daigo who explained that the process of getting the business, through a DOCL [Department of Commerce and Labor] competition and subsequent interview, was quite the interesting experience. He found the whole procedure quite welcoming with a lot of good questions and that: “they [DOCL] clearly wanted the right person for the place.”

He is quoted that it still feels quite “surreal” to have the place and that him and his hard workers are just getting themselves ready and situated with the construction of their premises, with Rampt Bobton – Co-Owner – stated that they were doing some soft openings to make sure that all their equipment was working and that the systems were in place before they committed to regular business.

Asking Daigo about what KANSEI provides to the people of Los Santos, he states that this custom shop will be: “specializing in our STYLES specialization, more of the JDM culture of cars so tuner cars but they can be European cars, they can be domestic American cars, they can be Japanese import cars … its just style that we angle but we wouldn’t discriminate if it wasn’t the style you were looking at. We do everything that we can but what is most important for us is Customer focus, you know what I mean, making sure that we are available for the customer and that they have a good experience!”

Speaking to him about the risk of competition from the other custom auto shops, Daigo stated that although the premises were close to one another [Great Bear – of which he and Rampt were former employees – and Auto Exotic] they can still work very well together. So it looks like citizens will be spoilt for choice of custom and design around the city.

According to the Owner they are in the process of getting themselves situated and sorted before looking at opening applications for any would be designers and mechanics but keep your eyes peeled for any updates as well as flyers!
